Booking and cancellation terms of the Wellness Hotel Gyula **** Superior 

Forms of booking and asking for offer

These terms for booking, change and cancellation apply exclusively for bookings by individuals (for the joint booking of a maximum of 5 rooms).  Booking at least 6 rooms at the same time is regarded as group booking, for which special booking, change and cancellation terms apply.

The Wellness Hotel Gyula **** Superior can accept bookings only in the form of e-mail/the online booking system.

In order to make it easy to contact the Wellness Hotel Gyula **** Superior, the hotel operates an online booking system, which can be found on the main page of our website (www.wellnesshotelgyula.hu).

We ask our prospective guests to provide all data required by the booking system accurately and consistently, with special regard to giving their contact data (phone number, e-mail and mailing address) correctly!

 The guest is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided during booking. If the guest is not available on the phone number, respectively e-mail address provided in the booking, or the given contact data prove to be incorrect, so we do not have the possibility for confirming the booking, the  Wellness Hotel Gyula **** Superior reserves the right for cancelling the booking, and so the claim for accommodation will cease.  

We ask our guests to write their questions or needs connected to the accommodation into the ”Comments” field. We ask those guests who come with their child / children to indicate the age of the child/children accurately.

In case of booking via email, we also ask you to give the same data as required by the online booking system: name, phone number, mailing address, e-mail address.  By phone we can only give you information.

By sending the booking, the guest acknowledges understanding and accepting the terms and conditions of booking and cancellation!

In case of asking for an offer, the Wellness Hotel Gyula **** Superior sends the compiled offer - that cannot be considered as confirmation - in writing to the guest.  In case the acceptance of the offer is confirmed in writing, the booking becomes final only after sending its confirmation.


Minimum nights

The currently package prices are bookable for the signed minimum nights. Please, pay attention the minumum prices, particularly the highs seasons.

High seasons in the year 2017 are the following: 11.04.2017-19.04.2017; 28.04.2017-01.05.2017; 02.06.2017.-05.06.2017; 05.06.2017-31.08.2017; 19.10.2017-23.10.2017; 01.11.2017-05.11.2017; Winter Vacation 2017; Christmas 2017; New Year’s Eve 2017

High seasns in the year 2018 are the following:  15-18.03.2018.; 30.03-02.04.2018.; 27.04-01.05.2018.; 18-21.05.2018.; Brandy Festival, spring vacation, summer vacation, autumn vacation, winter vacation

Value storage:

Herewith we inform our dear guests, that our hotel cannot take responsibility for the valuable objects or money left in the hotel. Every valuable item and object should be stored in a deposit safe located in the hotel room or at the reception of the hotel.


Advance payment

These terms for advance payment apply exclusively for bookings by individuals (for the joint booking of a maximum of 5 rooms).  Booking at least 6 rooms at the same time is regarded as group booking, for which special advance payment terms apply.

The Wellness Hotel Gyula **** Superior asks for an advance-payment of 50% in case of bookings for individual guests for the period between 01.01.2017 and 31.12.2017.

The deadline for advance payment is included in the confirmation as follows:

Settling advance payment:

- in case the booking is made less than 60 calendar days prior to the date of arrival, the advance payment is to be settled to the Hotel Gyula Kft. within 5 calendar days after the booking.

- in case the booking is made 60-180 calendar days prior to the date of arrival, the advance payment is to be settled to the Hotel Gyula Kft. within 15 calendar days after the booking.

- in case the booking is made more than 180 calendar days prior to the date of arrival, the advance payment is to be settled to the Hotel Gyula Kft. within 30 calendar days after the booking.

Advance payment is only accepted in cash, via wire transfer or by postal order, furthermore by SZÉP card (by sending the voucher in e-mail because of the 5 working day lead time).

We will send a confirmation of the advance payment to the email address given in the booking.

The booking will be valid / final only if the advance payment arrives till the specified deadline!  

In the “notice” field, please, indicate the name of the person who makes the booking, the booking number, as well as the phone contact details.

The amount remaining after the advance payment shall be paid on the spot at arrival!

The terms of cancellation and change concerning the periods between 
27.08.2017 and 31.12.2018, except for special holidays (20-23.10.2017.; 29.10.-05.11.2017.; 22.12.2017-02.01.2018.; 15-18.03.2018.; 30.03-02.04.2018.; 27.04-01.05.2018.; 18-21.05.2018.; Brandy Festival, spring vacation, summer vacation, autumn vacation, winter vacation)

These terms of booking, change and cancellation apply exclusively for bookings by individuals (for the joint booking of a maximum of 5 rooms). Booking at least 6 rooms at the same time is regarded as group booking, for which special change and cancellation terms apply.

For the cancellation of bookings confirmed by advance payment, the following rules apply: 

In case of booking 1-2 rooms:

Individual guests who submit in writing their cancellation at least 2 days prior to the arrival date indicated on the confirmation, can use the payed deposit within 6 month for a similar value reservation according to our availability or can receive a refund of the deposited amount.
In case of refunding,  2% from the deposited brutto amount will be deducted as pay back fee and the payer will receive 2% less.

If the guest does not cancel the booking in writing before or on the day of arrival, the guest will lose the advance payment, it will not be returned.

In case of booking 3-5 rooms:

Individual guests who submit in writing their cancellation at least 14 days prior to the arrival date indicated on the confirmation, can use the payed deposit within 6 month for a similar value reservation according to our availability or can receive a refund of the deposited amount.
In case of refunding,  2% from the deposited brutto amount will be deducted as pay back fee and the payer will receive 2% less.

If the guest sends his/her request for changes within a period of less than 14 days prior to the arrival date indicated on the confirmation, or the guest does not arrive at the hotel due to any reasons, the guest will lose the advance payment already settled, it will not be returned.


Terms of cancellation for the high season
(20-23.10.2017.; 29.10.-05.11.2017.; 22.12.2017-02.01.2018.; 15-18.03.2018.; 30.03-02.04.2018.; 27.04-01.05.2018.; 18-21.05.2018.; Brandy Festival, spring vacation, summer vacation, autumn vacation, winter vacation)

These terms of change and cancellation apply exclusively for bookings by individuals (for the joint booking of a maximum of 5 rooms). Booking at least 6 rooms at the same time is regarded as group booking, for which special change and cancellation terms apply.

We remind our guests that in the high season and on special holidays changes or cancellations are only accepted in e-mail until the 20. day prior to the arrival date at the latest.

For the cancellation of bookings confirmed by advance payment, the following rules apply:
The advance payment can NOT be returned.

If the guest cancels or changes the booking via e-mail 20 days before the day of arrival at the latest, the full sum of the advance payment settled can be used for another booking with at least the same booking value within 6 months after the cancellation.

If the guest sends his/her request for changes within a period of less than 20 days prior to the arrival date indicated on the confirmation, or the guest does not arrive at the hotel due to any reasons, the guest will lose the advance payment already settled, it will not be returned.


Terms and conditions for accommodations sold via agents

For guests arriving via forums (online booking portals and travel agencies) selling the services of the Wellness Hotel Gyula **** Superior the terms and conditions are the same.

In case of differences between the data of other distribution channels and those of the hotel’s own website (www.wellnesshotelgyula.hu), the information presented on the hotel's own website shall be regarded as valid. For the differences or the damages resulting from these differences, the hotel takes no responsibility.

The parties shall always try to settle their disputes arising under the accommodation contract by peaceful means. In case the peaceful settlement cannot be achieved, the parties take legal actions to resolve the disputes. The parties submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court in Gyula or the Békés County Court - depending on the jurisdiction - to decide the disputes arising under this contract.
