BEDSIDE RUG
Available free of charge from the chambermaid.

LINEN CHANGE
For stays of at least 5 nights, we change the bed linen free of charge on the 3rd day, twice a week. For an extra charge, daily linen change is also possible, at a fee of HUF 3,000 / set. Please indicate your request at the reception.

ACCESSIBILITY
Our hotel is wheelchair accessible, and all floors can be reached by lift. Our hotel has 2 accessible rooms. The sauna area of the Wellness section, however, can only be accessed by stairs.

ALLERGEN-FREE MEALS
Allergen-free meals are available in our hotel. On request, we provide individual meal options for our guests, for example gluten-free or lactose-free dishes. Please indicate your request at the reception. Upon prior request, we strive to ensure that guests requiring gluten-free, lactose-free, or other special diets can also enjoy a complete gastronomic experience. Please note that we do not have a dedicated allergen-free kitchen. Therefore, despite our utmost care, cross-contamination may occur. 

ANIMATOR SERVICE
In our Csigakert (Snail Garden) play house on the 2nd floor, our qualified animators look after the children. Momo the squirrel visits the children in the play house every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 17:30 and 18:00, and on Saturday between 10:00 and 10:30.
Every week we welcome the children with colourful, entertaining programmes: mini disco, balloon folding, glitter tattoos and craft sessions.

AQUA FITNESS
Three times a week we welcome our Guests with free Aqua Fitness in the Wellness Oasis.

BABY EQUIPMENT / BABY COT
In the kitchenette on the third floor, opposite the lift, a kettle, microwave oven and high chair are available to our Guests. It can be used free of charge 24 hours a day.
In our buffet restaurant, a high chair, children’s tableware and a bib are available for Guests arriving with small children. On request, we set up a baby cot with baby bedding, a baby bathtub, a changing mat, a bathroom step stool and a nappy bin in the room for your arrival.
A breathing-monitor baby alarm is available in limited numbers; it is suitable only for monitoring breathing in the guest’s room, as the hotel building is a concrete building.
Pacifiers, baby bottles and nappies can be purchased at the reception.
Swim nappies are available at the wellness reception for a fee.

PRAM
Can be rented at the reception for HUF 250 / pram / hour.

BABY FOOD
Available for a fee in the Buffet Restaurant and at the wellness reception.

BABYSITTING SERVICE
We can provide it from the age of 2 and for a minimum of 2 hours. Please indicate your request already at the time of booking. We can provide the babysitting service only if you indicate your request at the reception by 12:00 on the day before use at the latest! Prices: HUF 10,000 / 2 hours / child; HUF 13,000 / 3 hours / child; HUF 16,000 / 4 hours / child.

Located in our ground-floor Körös Garden restaurant, operated with HUF 100 coins. Opening hours: every day 12:00 – 24:00.

BUSINESS AND INTERNET CORNER
Located on the ground floor of our hotel, available free of charge for our hotel guests.

Found on the hallway coat rack in every room.

SHOE CLEANING
A shoe-cleaning machine is located on the ground floor of the hotel towards the rear entrance, next to the accessible toilet, as well as on the first floor of our hotel next to the Buffet restaurant; a shoe-cleaning sponge can also be found in the room, in the hallway cabinet.

SHOE-CLEANING SERVICE
Please indicate your request at the reception. We undertake shoe cleaning every day until 16:00, with a turnaround time of 1 hour.
The shoe-cleaning fee: HUF 3,000 / 1 pair of shoes.

PACIFIER, BABY BOTTLE
Available at the reception for a fee.

LUGGAGE TRANSPORT
A luggage transport service is available to our Guests on request. On request, the bellboy carries our Guests’ luggage up to the room or brings it down. Please indicate your request at the reception.

LUGGAGE STORAGE
If you wish to store your luggage, we provide the opportunity to do so in the luggage-storage lockers. Please contact the reception!

SMOKING
The Wellness Hotel Gyula****superior is a non-smoking hotel. Designated smoking areas: the terrace of the ground-floor Körös Garden Snack Bar, the terrace of the first-floor Buffet Restaurant, and the terrace of the Wellness Oasis.

ELECTRIC POWER
The electric power is 220V/50Hz.
With the help of the key card you can switch on the electrical equipment and open the door of your room. The key card must be placed in the card reader next to the door. When the card is in the reader, the indicator light on the card reader stays continuously lit. If you lose your card during your stay at the hotel, please inform the reception immediately! On departure, please hand in the card at the reception!
In case of a power failure or a malfunction of the card, please contact the reception!

UMBRELLA
Available free of charge at the reception.

WAKE-UP SERVICE
You can set it yourself via the TV, or you can also request it at the hotel reception.

SAFEKEEPING OF VALUABLES
Available free of charge at the reception. We would like to inform our dear Guests that we do not take responsibility for money and valuables left in the hotel room. Please keep your valuables in the room safe; you may also use the central safe located at the hotel reception free of charge.

RESTAURANT AND BAR
At the Wellness Hotel Gyula, two catering units welcome our dear Guests: the Buffet Restaurant and the Körös Garden Snack Bar and Restaurant.

Buffet Restaurant
On the first floor of the family-friendly Gyula hotel, we provide a buffet breakfast, a wellness set-menu lunch and a buffet dinner for our Guests. For our little guests we provide a high chair, children’s tableware and a bib. We are also happy to meet special dietary requirements after prior consultation.

Körös Garden Snack Bar
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, this restaurant seats 30 people and, from spring to autumn, welcomes its Guests with a cosy terrace area and a bar. À la carte dining is possible on request in our restaurant for a fee between 12:00 and 21:00. In our Snack Bar you can really unwind: table football, billiards and darts await our Guests. Our drinks list features the pálinka specialities of our county, the outstanding quality wines of Hungary’s traditional wine regions, quality sparkling wines, cocktails, and coffee and tea specialities. Our Master Chef Géza Farkas and his team strive to treat our dear Guests to culinary delights every day, keeping in mind food specialities that follow modern trends. We prepare our Guests’ individual requests (vegetarian, diabetic, gluten-, dairy- and egg-free dishes) according to their needs.

Vitamin Bar
The Vitamin Bar in our hotel’s Wellness Oasis makes relaxation even more enjoyable, where our Guests can enjoy their favourite energising drinks and food in a pleasant setting. Our offer includes cocktails, freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, sandwiches and salads. The Vitamin Bar welcomes our dear Guests during the opening hours of the Wellness Oasis!

Available for a fee at the reception.

FITNESS ROOM
Located on the 1st floor of our hotel: an exercise bike, an elliptical machine, a stair climber, a treadmill and a compact plate-weight machine await our Guests who enjoy active relaxation. Children under 16 may only stay in the room under parental supervision. You can also find the house rules of the fitness room in our guest information booklet.
Opening hours: every day 07:00 – 22:00. Please ask for the key at the reception!

PAYMENT METHODS
In the case of cash, you can pay only in forints. Our hotel accepts the following bank cards: VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, and is also an MBH, OTP and K&H SZÉP card acceptance point.

BATHROBE
We provide it free of charge to our Guests, placed in the room. It may not be taken to the Castle Bath. On departure, please leave it in the room.

BATHROOM CHAIR
Available free of charge at the reception.

GAME ZONE
In our first-floor games room we welcome our Guests with air hockey, a car-racing simulator, a motorbike simulator, a Virtual Cop game, a Galaxy Garrison game and speedball. The machines operate with HUF 100 coins.

CHILDREN’S COT
Please indicate your request at the time of booking.

CHILD SUPERVISION
In our playroom on the second floor of the hotel, we undertake the supervision of children over the age of 3 free of charge, with parental consent. For a fee, we also provide a separate babysitting service.

Our hotel does not accept pets — for hygiene reasons.

We accept VISA, Mastercard and Maestro cards.

INTERNET
Internet is available throughout the hotel via WIFI. The hotel’s wireless WIFI connection is protected by encryption. We update the wireless network password monthly. We inform our Guests of the WIFI code on arrival at our hotel reception.
A wired LAN port is available in the guest rooms, for which a cable can be requested at the reception.

PLAY HOUSE
In our Csigakert (Snail Garden) play house on the 2nd floor, our qualified animators look after the little ones. Children under the age of 3 may use the play house under parental supervision. In the play house, for hygiene reasons, wearing socks is compulsory for both children and adults. You can obtain detailed information about our current programmes in our Play House. PLAYGROUND
Our Momó Vár (Momo Castle) playground, built on a rubber surface with castle towers and various toys (slides, nest swing, climbing frames), awaits the children.

CAMERA SYSTEM
A camera system operates in our hotel. Further information about the placement and operation of the cameras is available at the reception.

BICYCLE RENTAL
A total of 18 bicycles are available to our Guests (8 adult, 2 teen, 7 children’s, 4 balance bikes and 5 kick scooters). On request, we fit the bicycles with a child seat. Our rental fees: 1 hour: HUF 1,000; 2 hours: HUF 1,800; 3 hours: HUF 2,400; 1 day: HUF 5,000. Rental fee for balance bikes and kick scooters: HUF 200 / hour.

COSMETICS
The salon located next to the wellness section welcomes its Guests with cosmetic treatments, by prior appointment. The cosmetics price list is included in the guest information booklet.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Our hotel supports environmentally friendly programmes and initiatives. Please help too and be mindful of the negative effects of excessive water and energy consumption on our environment.

KEY CARD, WRISTBAND
With the help of the key card and wristband, our Guests can open the door of the room and the Wellness Oasis, and switch on the electrical equipment. To do this, the key card or the wristband must be placed in the card reader next to the room’s entrance door. To open the door of the wellness section, hold the card or the wristband to the magnetic sensor glowing blue on the right-hand side; only then can the door be opened.

LAPTOP
Please indicate your request at our hotel reception. Fee: HUF 6,000 / laptop / day.

WRITING PAPER AND ENVELOPE
Available to our Guests in the rooms.

AIR CONDITIONING
The air conditioning can be switched on and off with the help of the panel placed on the room wall. The cooling-heating climate system can be adjusted individually in every room. The set default temperature is +22.5 degrees Celsius, adjustable by +/- 3 degrees Celsius. If you operate the air conditioning, please keep the door and windows closed, otherwise the climate control will not operate.

LIFT
There are three guest lifts available in the hotel, two of which are located to the left of the reception and travel between the ground floor (0 F) and the floors (0 – HIGH GROUND FLOOR, 1 – FIRST FLOOR, 2 – SECOND FLOOR, 2 F – SECOND FLOOR ACCESSIBLE, 3 – THIRD FLOOR). Arriving from the main entrance, they can be accessed barrier-free by passing between the two display cabinets. The third lift travels exclusively between the underground garage and the ground floor. They are maintained in accordance with the regulations.

BELLBOY
A luggage transport service is available to our Guests on request. On request, the bellboy carries our Guests’ luggage up to the room or brings it down. Please indicate your request at the reception.

MANICURE – PEDICURE
The salon located next to the wellness section welcomes its Guests with manicures and pedicures, by prior appointment. The manicure-pedicure price list is included in the guest information booklet.

MASSAGE
In our hotel’s Wellness Oasis, 1 massage salon is available to our Guests. Appointments can be arranged at the Wellness reception: +36 66 463 522 / extension 505.

LAUNDRY
The laundry list can be found in the hallway cabinet. Please place the completed order form together with your clothes in the laundry bag, then indicate your laundry request at the reception by 9 a.m. Our laundry operates on weekdays, with completion within 24 hours, by agreement, depending on the quantity. The laundry and ironing price list is included in the guest information booklet.

MINIBAR
You will find our minibar selection together with a price list in the cabinet next to the TV; please settle its cost at the reception on departure.

An anti-allergenic, luxury-quality pillow with a 3-chamber structure. The outer chambers are filled with 90% European white
Muscovy duck down / 10% European white Muscovy duck feather, and the inner chamber with 85% European white
duck feather / 15% European white duck down. Muscovy duck down resembles the exclusive eider
duck down and provides soft, comfortable support. With a soft 100% cotton-cambric cover.

Memory-foam pillow
A memory-foam pillow made of shredded AIR memory foam with a pressure-equalising effect, which
adapts quickly and precisely to the shape of the neck and shoulders, even in cooler environments. On one
side it contains a cooling gel layer, so depending on the season you can use the cold side of the pillow, or the plain
side. With a polyester cover which, on the cold side, contains cooling polyethylene.

Anti-allergenic memory-foam pillow
An anti-allergenic memory-foam pillow made of shredded AIR memory
foam with a pressure-equalising effect. AIR memory foam adapts quickly and precisely to the shape of the neck and
shoulders, even in cooler environments. Its polyester cover has received a dust-mite-resistant treatment
that helps reduce the number of dust mites. Quilted with AIR memory foam mixed
with bamboo charcoal.

Mite Protect pillow
A pillow with excellent anti-allergenic properties. The product is made with a hollow polyester-fibre filling, and the
cover is 100% microfibre polyester. Its filling prevents the formation of bacterial and fungal colonies

Use of the parking card

A parking card can be requested for guests of the Wellness Hotel Gyula**** Superior at the hotel reception on the day of arrival.

Important information:

• Collection of the parking pass is subject to a HUF 10,000 deposit being charged to the room bill.
• On the day of departure, at check-out, please return the parking pass.
• If you hand back the pass, the HUF 10,000 deposit is deducted from the room bill.
• If the parking pass is not returned, the deposit amount is non-refundable and is invoiced together with the hotel services.

• Always place the parking card on the inner side of the windscreen, on top of the dashboard, in a place visible to the parking attendant.

We kindly ask our dear Guests to indicate their parking request in advance at the time of booking, as our parking spaces are limited! If we can no longer provide a space in our car parks and the available parking passes have also been issued, then you can park in the hotel’s street by purchasing a ticket from a machine.

Every room is equipped with a safe, located in the cabinet below the minibar. The safes can be programmed individually: Enter any 6 digits, then press the „#” button. This operation both programs and locks the safe at once. To open it, enter the 6 digits you have chosen. If you have forgotten or mistyped the code, please notify the reception. We would like to inform our dear Guests that our hotel accepts no responsibility whatsoever for valuables or cash that go missing in the hotel. We kindly ask our dear Guests to keep their valuables in the room safe; you may also use the central safe located at the hotel reception free of charge. Thank you for your understanding!

WASHING/CLEANSING PRODUCTS
Shower gel, body lotion, soap, shower cap and a vanity set (nail file, cotton buds, cotton pads) are available in the bathroom. Toothpaste, toothbrush, comb and a shaving kit are available at the reception for a fee.

CAKE
Cakes can be ordered by phone or e-mail. We serve the cake according to your wishes during the meal, with musical accompaniment on request. In addition to the price of the cake, a service charge of HUF 2,500 / occasion is payable.

CHARGER
An adapter for charging various electrical devices can be requested at the reception. A socket suitable for international use can be requested at the reception.

CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC CARS
The hotel has a Mennekes 22kW charger in the underground garage, for which the cable can be requested at the reception for an extra charge. In addition, our courtyard car park also has two electric charging points. Please enquire at the reception about the fee for the parking space reserved for electric cars, which also includes the charging fee. The charging points are available in limited numbers, subject to our free capacity, and our Guests can reserve them in advance.

CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC SCOOTERS AND BICYCLES
An electric bicycle/scooter charger is located in the hotel’s underground garage. Please indicate your request at the reception.

CHANGING OF TOWELS
We change the towels on request. For the sake of environmental protection and sustainability, please place your towel on the floor only if you no longer wish to use it and would like it changed.

TURNDOWN SERVICE
For our Guests’ comfort, the evening inspection and turndown of the room for the night (straightening the bed linen, drawing the blackout curtains, emptying the bin) is carried out only if you indicate your request at the reception by 16:00. The service can be used free of charge between 16:00 and 18:30.

FIRE PROTECTION
Our hotel is equipped with a fire alarm system, which can be activated automatically by smoke detectors or by pressing the manual fire alarms placed in the corridors for this purpose. If the emergency bell sounds, you must leave the building immediately, following the direction lights indicating the escape routes, or
the instructions posted on the room door. In such a case the lifts do not operate! Please use the stairs!
If you are hearing-impaired, please indicate this at the reception, so that we can take the necessary measures for your safety in the event of an emergency!

FIRE-PROTECTION REGULATIONS
1. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms!
2. It is prohibited to leave a burning candle unattended in the rooms!
3. It is prohibited to block the entrances of the rooms!
4. In the event of fire, the reception and the fire brigade must be notified!

A discounted Castle Bath ticket with full-day use and the option to enter twice a day can be purchased at the reception.

IRONING
Please indicate your request at our hotel reception. The ironing service is completed within 1 hour of drop-off. The ironing fee is HUF 2,000 / item.

IRON, IRONING BOARD
On request, an iron and ironing board are available to our guests in the baby kitchen on the 3rd floor. Please ask our colleague for assistance at the reception.

EMERGENCY EXIT
On the escape route placed in the room, you will find the emergency exit closest to your room.

WELLNESS OASIS
The glass walls of our hotel’s Wellness Oasis offer a beautiful panorama of Gyula’s most beautiful park. It can be accessed via the ground-floor corridor of the hotel. Not accessible for wheelchair users. The house rules of the Wellness Oasis can also be found in our guest information booklet. For small children, the use of a swim nappy is compulsory.

These House Rules apply to the entire area of the Wellness Oasis. In the event of a breach of the provisions of the House Rules, the hotel management accepts no responsibility whatsoever, and the hotel may lodge a claim for compensation for any damage caused by guests. Everyone uses the Wellness Oasis and its services at their own risk.

Opening hours: every day of the week from 08:30 to 20:30; the hotel management may change the opening hours in justified cases (technical fault, event, etc.).

The hotel management accepts no responsibility for damage arising from the disappearance of items left unattended in the area of the bath.

It is prohibited to enter the pool area in street shoes! Due to the risk of slipping, the use of bathing slippers is recommended. It is not permitted to enter the pool with a soiled body. Before entering the pool, the use of the shower and the footbath is compulsory for everyone. Showers separated by gender are available to guests in the changing room.

You may only stay in the pools in a swimsuit. Non-swimmers may not use the deep water.

Jumping into the water from the edge of the pools is prohibited!

Children under 10, as well as children under 14 who cannot swim, may only use the services of the Wellness Oasis under the supervision of an adult. Where necessary, the use of a swim nappy is compulsory!

Adults may not use the children’s pool, except when supervising children.

In order to protect the health and physical safety of the persons using the wellness section, the bath may not be visited by anyone who:

• has a fever or suffers from an infectious gastrointestinal or skin disease,
• suffers from a disease involving convulsive states, loss of consciousness, or conspicuous or extensive pathological changes,
• is intoxicated,
• is under the influence of narcotics or medication with an intoxicating effect.

It is prohibited to smoke, litter or make noise in the wellness section and its rooms, or to bring into the pool any fragile object or any object that could cause an accident or injury. It is not permitted to use cleaning agents, soap or shampoo in the pool area, to pollute the pool water in any way, to disturb the peace of bathers or endanger their physical safety, or to behave in a manner that offends public morals or public order. Entering the changing room of the opposite sex is prohibited.

The hotel’s employees (receptionist, pool attendant) are responsible for the maintenance of order in the Wellness Oasis. The pool attendant or receptionist on duty is entitled to reprimand a guest who breaches the House Rules or the moral and ethical rules, and to expel them from the Wellness Oasis. All guests must comply with the instructions and guidance of the employees. The recommended maximum time to spend in the jacuzzi is 30 minutes.

The sauna, steam cabin and infrared cabin may be used only in accordance with the general sauna rules posted, and at one’s own risk. The sauna may be used in appropriate attire (swimsuit, towel). In the sauna, essential oil may be used only in moderation and with consideration for others. Wearing jewellery and glasses in the sauna is prohibited, as it may lead to burn injuries!

The use of the sauna is contraindicated in the case of heart, circulatory and respiratory insufficiency, tumorous diseases, incontinence, acute inflammatory diseases, tuberculosis, thrombosis, severe varicose vein disease, infectious diseases, infectious skin diseases, overactive thyroid, epilepsy, cardiac arrhythmia, febrile illness and untreated high blood pressure. Before using the sauna, consult your doctor’s opinion! Children under 14 may only use the sauna under parental supervision. The recommended maximum continuous time for healthy people to spend in the sauna is 8-12 minutes, a maximum of 15 minutes. The use of slippers or other footwear in the sauna cabin is PROHIBITED!

The use of slippers is recommended in the steam cabin. Bringing animals into the area of the bath is prohibited.

We accept no responsibility for accidents resulting from the guest’s fault or from the improper use of the facilities. Please report any extraordinary event – personal injury, illness, fire, the presence of a dangerous device or object – to the staff, who are obliged to take action without delay in accordance with the relevant regulations.

During the opening hours of the wellness section, first aid can be obtained at the wellness reception. Please hand in found items at the wellness reception.

Anyone who intentionally damages or misappropriates the equipment, or pollutes the bath water, is obliged to compensate for the damage, may be subject to an infringement procedure, and may be removed from the area of the wellness section.

Guests may make complaints or express appreciation regarding the operation of the bath in the complaints book or guest book placed at the reception.

The operator reserves the right to hold private events in the area of the wellness section, with the exclusion of the general clientele.

Drinks may be brought into the pool area only and exclusively in a sealable plastic bottle; bringing in any other drink or item is strictly prohibited.
Guests are obliged to leave the wellness section in good time, having regard to the closing time.

Please report any problems or malfunctions you notice at the reception so that they can be repaired as soon as possible (blockage, heavy soiling).

Compliance with the House Rules is compulsory for every guest staying in the area of the bath!

The design of our hotel’s rooms was guided by the creation of perfect comfort, in the course of which elegance and style are combined with the concept of a natural experience and a calm, harmonious environment.

Of the 68 hotel rooms:

• 46 superior double rooms of 25 m² (with their own balcony; one extra bed and one baby cot, or even 2 extra beds, can be accommodated), of which 18 can be interconnected + 5 with bunk beds, thus providing excellent accommodation for families
• 15 classic double rooms of 21 m² (a baby cot or an extra bed can also be placed)
• 2 classic plus double rooms of 31 m² (their bathroom can be converted to be accessible; 1 extra bed or 1 baby cot can also be placed)
• 3 junior suites of 50 m² (living room + bedroom; a maximum of 2 extra beds and one baby cot can be placed)
• 2 deluxe suites of 70-80 m² (equipped with a panoramic terrace, extremely spacious, with one living room and two bedrooms; a maximum of 2 extra beds and 1 baby cot can be placed)
• 6 anti-allergenic rooms

The glass walls of our hotel’s Wellness Oasis offer a beautiful panorama of Gyula’s most beautiful park.
It can be accessed via the ground-floor corridor of the hotel. To enter, use your key card or your blue wristband. Not accessible for wheelchair users.
The house rules of the Wellness Oasis can also be found in our guest information booklet. For small children, the use of a swim nappy is compulsory.
